In this lecture (in English) I will discuss my four seasons of ethnographic fieldwork carried out for my PhD in the Northern Norwegian towns of Andenes and Skjervøy, where whale watching is a big and growing enterprise. I will discuss some of the challenges facing the industry today and report on some of my findings, showing videos and images, and will happily answer questions.
